"The Different Steps Needed to Find a Job in Portugal" is an online training program designed for asylum seekers and refugees living in Portugal who are interested in learning about the Portuguese job market and how to apply for a job. The training covers essential topics such as personal self-assessment, Portuguese language, how to create a CV, how to apply for jobs, and job interview preparation.
The program is conducted entirely in English, so participants must have a basic understanding of the language to participate. This training is designed to provide participants with practical knowledge and skills to navigate the Portuguese job market successfully.
During the training, participants will learn how to make a personal balance to identify their skills, strengths, and weaknesses to determine the best type of job for them.
The training also covers creating a CV, including information on how to tailor a CV to a specific job, and how to highlight skills and experiences that are relevant to the job position. Participants will also be taught how to apply for jobs online, including how to fill out job applications and write a cover letter.
Finally, the training covers preparation for job interviews, including how to dress, how to respond to interview questions, and how to follow up after an interview. By the end of this training program, participants will have gained practical skills and knowledge to help them successfully find employment in Portugal.
